Konsep Montessori Tentang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Dalam Perspektif Pendidikan Islam [The Montessori Concept of Early Childhood Education in the Perspective of Islamic Education]
Abstract/Notes: Education is the business of adults to prepare children to be able to live independently and is able to perform the duties of his life as well as possible. The toddler years are a golden period for the growth and development of children. Development of each child must be observed, education and teaching needs to be ailored to the child’s development. Montessori is early childhood education leaders who opened the eyes of their sensitive period in children, Montessori asserted that education is self-education. Montessori then use the freedom and liveliness of the child with the best in the method, so that each child had the opportunity to evolve according to the nature and talent. In Islam, God entrusted the child is to be protected and educated with the best. Therefore, addressing the development and early childhood education, the need for an educational program that is designed in accordance with the child’s developmental level.
This study aims to describe and analyze the Montessori concept of early childhood education in the perspective of Islamic education. Data collection through literature study is based on primary and secondary data. Data analysis using analytic descriptive with inductive thinking patterns. The results showed: 1) Montesssori shift from teacher-education center central (teachers as a source of learning) be child-central (protégé as a center of learning); 2) Sensitive Periods expressed early age is a sensitive period; 3) The freedom and independence according to the Montessori system is not real freedom, but freedom is limited; 4) Child’s Self-Construction stating that children construct their own development of his soul; 5) At the time of early childhood have a soul absorbent range of knowledge and experience in his life. Montessori concept in Islamic educational perspective, the emphasis is on the child’s intellectual is right. However, it should pay attention to other aspects such as emotional aspects and skills.
Abstract/Notes: Curriculum management is a form of curriculum management in education to develop intelligence. Islamic Montessori-based curriculum management differs from curriculum management in general. The purpose of this study was to describe the curriculum of Budi Mulia Dua Sedayu Kindergarten in Yogyakarta and to describe the involvement of teachers, parents, school committees, and the surrounding community. The research uses an approach with a case study research design. The research subjects as data sources are : principals, teachers, parents, school educators, and the surrounding community. Data collection methods are : observation, interviews, and documentation. In addition, the research uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study can be seen that an Islamic Montessori Curriculum management that starts from planning to evaluation. Planning that is adapted to the vision and mission of creating children who have good morals in this world and the hereafter. Organizing by developing indicators according to established themes. Implementation, and achievement of indicators with the Montessori method with an Islamic approach. Evaluations are carried out routinely every day and are held at monthly and annual meetings. The involvement of teachers, parents, school committees and the community looks good and has their respective roles. Manajemen kurikulum merupakan bentuk pengelolaan kurikulum dalam pendidikan untuk mengembangkan intelegensi. Manajemen kurikulum berbasis Islamic Montessori memiliki perbedaan dengan manajemen kurikulum sekolah secara umum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan manajemen kurikulum lembaga Taman Kanak-Kanak Budi Mulia Dua Sedayu Yogyakarta dan untuk menggambarkan keterlibatan guru, orang tua, komite sekolah, dan masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Subyek penelitian sebagai sumber data adalah : kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua, tenaga pendidik sekolah dan masyarakat sekitar. Metode pengumpulan data adalah : observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selain itu penelitian menggunakan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, data penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teknik sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa Taman Kanak-Kanak Budi Mulia Dua Sedayu memiliki manajamen Kurikulum Islamic Montessori yang baik dimulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi. Perencanaan disesuaikan dengan visi dan misi yaitu menciptakan anak yang memiliki akhlak baik di dunia dan akhirat. Pengorganisasian dengan mengembangkan indikator sesuai tema yang ditetapkan. Pelaksanaan, mencapai indikator dengan metode Montessori dengan pendekatan Islamic. Evaluasi yang dilakukan rutin setiap hari dan dirapatkan pada rapat bulanan dan tahunan. Keterlibatan guru, orangtua, komite sekolah dan masyarakat terlihat baik dan mempunyai peran masing-masing.

Analisis Kemampuan Konsep Bilangan Anak Usia 3-4 Tahun dengan Media Montessori Number Rods
Abstract/Notes: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis terkait kemampuan konsep bilangan anak usia 3-4 tahun di Kober Mentari Preschool Kecamatan Sumedang Utara Kabupaten Sumedang Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 dengan media Montessori number rods. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah library research adalah serangkaian kegiatan melalui 6 langkah kegiatan yaitu studi literatur, pengumpulan data, konsep yang diteliti, konseptualisasi, Analisa, kesimpulan dan saran. Peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif deskriptif, adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini merupakan sumber data yang dipakai peneliti seperti jurnal ilmiah nasional, artikel yang berkaitan dengan ebook dan jurnal yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Abstract/Notes: Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir logis AUD melalui permainan Montessori ditinjau dari gender, yang melibatkan 16 siswa TK dari 8 sekolah yang ada di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara transkrip data, reduksi data, validasi atau triangulasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kemampuan berpikir logis dan simbolik siswa berada pada level Berkembang Sesuai Harapan. Pada indikator mengenal perbedaan berdasarkan ukuran “lebih dari”, “kurang dari” dan “paling/ter”, siswa laki-laki berada pada level Berkembang Sangat Baik dan siswa perempuan pada level Berkembang Sesuai Harapan. Pada indikator mengklasifikasikan benda berdasarkan warna, bentuk dan ukuran (3 variasi), siswa laki-laki berada pada level Berkembang Sesuai Harapan dan siswa perempuan pada level Mulai Berkembang. Pada indikator mengurutkan benda berdasarkan ukuran dari paling kecil ke paling besar atau sebaliknya, serta mengenal pola ABCD-ABCD, baik siswa laki-laki maupun siswa perempuan berada pada level Berkembang Sesuai Harapan dan Mulai Berkembang. [This descriptive qualitative study aims to analyze the logical thinking ability of early childhood through Montessori games in terms of gender, which involved 16 kindergarten students from 8 schools in Central Aceh Regency. The data in this study were obtained through tests, observations and interviews. Data analysis was carried out by means of data transcription, data reduction, data validation or triangulation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it is known that students' logical and symbolic thinking skills are at the level of Developing According to Expectations. In the indicator of recognizing differences based on the size of "more than", "less than" and "most/ter", male students are at the Very Good Developing level and female students are at the Expected Developing level. In the indicator of classifying objects based on color, shape and size (3 variations), male students are at the Developing As Expected level and female students are at the Beginning to Develop level. In the indicator of sorting objects by size from the smallest to the largest or vice versa, as well as recognizing the ABCD-ABCD pattern, both male and female students are at the level of Developing According to Expectations and Starting to Develop.]
Abstract/Notes: Montessori Education is widely spread in almost all countries in the world. Even though this school is meant for all kinds of learners including “normal” learners, the Montessori education concepts used in Montessori schools will be very supportive education for children with special needs. Therefore, the schools which adopt Montessori education concepts can facilitate inclusion, especially with the concepts of ‘I can do it myself.’ Inclusive education needs to be carefully prepared and implemented by schools. The movement brings about some challenges for teachers. This paper explores the environment and materials based on Montessori education concepts. The environment and materials are suitable for all types of learners and thus can be an option to be implemented in the inclusive education setting. Efektivitas Metode Islamic Montessori dalam Mengembangkan Kecerdasan Interpersonal Anak [The Effectiveness of the Islamic Montessori Method in Developing Children's Interpersonal Intelligence]
Abstract/Notes: Meningkatnya amoral, asosial, antisosial dan melemahnya sopan santun anak sangat disadari dan menjadi keprihatinan dalam dunia pendidikan. Di sisi lain pendidikan di Indonesia masih menitikberatkan pada aspek kognitif sehingga mengakibatkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak kurang berkembang secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas metode Islamic Montessori dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix-method dengan model exploratory sequential design . Peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan angket dalam bentuk Skala Likert dan TCR dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 responden. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, tingkat efektifitas metode Islamic Montessori dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak dalam kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan Implementasi metode Islamic Montessori dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak dilakukan melalui pembelajaran practical life dengan menyelipkan pengetahuan Islam, pembiasaan mengambil, mengembalikan dan membereskan material Montessori , penggunaan alas kerja dan menyimak praktik kerja guru serta menawarkan bantuan saat anak sedang mengeksplorasi material Montessori. [The increase in immoral, asocial, antisocial and the weakening of children's manners is very much recognized and a concern in the world of education. On the other hand, education in Indonesia still focuses on cognitive aspects, resulting in children's interpersonal intelligence developing less optimally. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Islamic Montessori method in developing children's interpersonal intelligence. This study uses a mix-method approach with an exploratory sequential design model . Researchers used observation, interviews and questionnaires in the form of a Likert Scale and TCR with a total sample of 20 respondents. Based on the data obtained, the level of effectiveness of the methodIslamic Montessori in developing children's interpersonal intelligence is in the very good category. While the implementation of the Islamic Montessori method in developing children's interpersonal intelligence is carried out through practical life learning by inserting Islamic knowledge, the habit of taking, returning and tidying up Montessori materials , using work mats and listening to teacher work practices and offering assistance when children are exploring Montessori materials.]
Abstract/Notes: The purpose of this study is to develop model multiplication boards based on montessori methods in math class III . The research USE addie's version of development models. The population in this study is 3rd graders a islamic elementary school assalam curug. The techniques in drawing samples in the study use the small group test of 10 students and the large group test of 16 students. The instruments used include interviews, angkets and pre-test questions. The results of this development study met the "worthy" criteria of a media expert of 4,3 with the "very worthy" criteria and the angket research of a 4,2 materials expert and met the "very worthy" criteria and met the "very worthy" criteria and met the "very worthy" criteria and met the criteria of a 3,9 sebersar scholar and met the "worthy" criteria. At a small scale test assessment involving 10 class III students results from a 4,4 presentation and large-scale trial results from 4,3 propelled, thus the "very good" criteria. Abstract/Notes: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemandirian anak setelah penerapan pembelajaran metode Montessori di Bright Star Makassar School. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain pretest-posttest one group dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak lima belas anak. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa skala observasi kemandirian (behavioral checklist pada kemandirian anak) dengan model skala likert dan guide interview. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistic non parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasilnya menunjukkan p = 0.001 (p < 0.05), artinya penerapan metode Montessori signifikan meningkatkan kemandirian anak di Bright Star Makassar School. Keseluruhan sampel dalam penelitian ini semakin mandiri setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan metode Montessori dan tidak ada satu anak pun yang tidak mengalami kemajuan kemandirian. Begitu pula berdasarkan data statistik deskriptif ditemukan adanya perbedaan rata-rata skor kemandirian sebelum dengan rata-rata skor kemandirian sesudah perlakuan pembelajaran menggunakan metode Montessori. Penelitian ini membuktikan kemandirian anak dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran metode Montessori. [This study aims to determine the independence of children after the application of the Montessori method of learning at Bright Star Makassar School. This research is an experimental study using a one group pretest-posttest design with fifteen children as research subjects. Data were collected using observation and interviews. The data collection instrument used was an independent observation scale (behavioral checklist on children's independence) with a Likert scale model and an interview guide. Data were analyzed using non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results show p = 0.001 (p < 0.05), meaning that the application of the Montessori method significantly increases the independence of children at Bright Star Makassar School. The entire sample in this study became more independent after learning using the Montessori method was applied and there was not a single child who did not progress in independence. Likewise, based on descriptive statistical data, it was found that there was a difference in the average score of independence before and the average score of independence after learning treatment using the Montessori method. This research proves that children's independence can be increased through the Montessori method of learning.]
