[This article deals with Montessori’s scientific pedagogy and how his researches and the creation of houses for children become official, as well as how discourses and medical, biological, anthropological and psychological practices are installed in the pedagogy field in modern schools. Influenced by the theories of Lombroso and Darwin, he considered that human beings were no more than a cell composed by a protoplasm and nucleus the size of a tenth of a millimeter, from where individuals who are very different from each other come from. This is why, in order to understand and carry out the practical researches of anthropology with pedagogical purposes, enough notions of biology are required, as well as the collaboration of other disciplines that work side by side with pedagogy. Thus the importance to show and question the effects of these discourses and practices regarding the conception of an active pedagogy, far from the concern for the child’s education in terms of his relationship with himself, knowledge and the world, pedagogical statements that lose validity in the operation of the school proposed by Montessori. For such purpose, some concepts from Foucault are taken as reference (population, policies, normalization, knowledge practices) in the perspective of the notion of bio-politics.]

Abstract/Notes: In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of learning levels of daily life skills on the attitudes of the Montessori children's parents. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 414 children of 3-6 age group and their parents in 9 Montessori schools in Izmit, Istanbul, Antalya and Nevsehir. The "Daily Life Skills Scale" developed by us and the " Parent Attitude Scale " developed by Şendil ve Karabulut (2008) were used to collect the data. In the study, frequency analysis was used to show the demographic information of the participants. Parametric tests were used in the analyzes."One Way ANOVA " and "Independent Sample T Test" were used for the analysis of independent variables in terms of scale scores. Dependent sample t test was used for the analysis of the pre and post scores of the questionnaire. The relationship between independent variables was examined by Pearson correlation coefficient. The relationship between independent variables was examined by pearson correlation coefficient. As a result of the research, it was determined that there is an improvement in daily life skills of preschool students. In terms of pre-test and post-test evaluations, it was seen that there was an increase in parental permissive attitude, authoritarian attitude and excessive protection attitude, while a decrease in democratic attitude was observed.

Abstract/Notes: Montessori is a learning method to stimulate children to reach their potential in all fields. In the field of reading literacy, one of the initial stages is how to stimulate initial reading skills, starting with introducing letters using the syllable learning method. The stimulation process must be in a fun and not boring way of playing exploration so that children will not feel that they are learning, especially in the current state of the Covid-19 pandemic, where the learning process becomes boring for children because it has to be done at home. The purpose of this research is to create a learning technology in the form of an electronic puzzle Montessori Sand Board Letter (SBL) for Indonesian syllables that can help stimulate early childhood according to the Montessori principle in recognizing syllables. The system development method uses the System Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) method. Based on the results of functional testing using the black box method, it states that all functional systems function 100% according to design and objectives. The results of testing and validation by Montessori practitioners stated that the system was in accordance with Montessori rules. Based on the results of usage observations, the Montessori Sand Board Letter (SBL) electronic puzzle for Indonesian syllables can be an alternative learning tool to introduce Indonesian syllables for the initial reading learning process.

Abstract/Notes: Okul öncesi dönemdeki çocukların gelişimi ve istenilen düzeyde ilerleme kaydedilmesi, devam ettikleri okullarda almış oldukları eğitim hizmetinin niteliği ile yakından ilişkilidir. / The development of the children in the pre-school period and progress at the desired level are closely related to the quality of the education they have received in the schools they attend. Children, like other adults, need to learn some behaviors in everyday life so that they can survive independently. Adult individuals learn consciously by making resolute and willing decisions. The choice of effective teaching approach, the choice of physical environment, an important place to teach materials, and educational effects are important for building solid foundations in children's development. Montessori teaches the extent to which science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) curricula can be applied in pre-school education programs. The working group constitutes 14 pre-school teachers who provide education in independent kindergartens within the Ministry of National Education in the province of Batman in 2016-2017 educational year and primary classes in primary and secondary schools. The research was qualitatively designed. The semi-structured interview technique was used as the data collection method and "content analysis" was performed. According to the findings, pre-school teachers know Montessori education method but they became aware of STEM education approach for the first time thanks to this research. The most important shortcomings of both methods are; it is stated that the absence of a pre-prepared environment for children, the possibility of freedom and activity in such a way that it can develop itself and at the same time the physical structure of the school prevents the development of children. The lack of materials that children can choose and work independently of their individual interests and tendencies are a barrier to qualified education. When a general evaluation is made, it has been reached that the teachers have shown interest in the research and their ideas about the new approaches changed positively.
