Abstract/Notes: Dr. Montessori, the famous Italian teacher and found of the Montessori system for the training of children, and her interesting interpreter and secretary, Miss Pyle, are arriving this afternoon from Los Angeles for a visit of ten days or two weeks at Boyland. Dr. Montessori comes to discuss her plans for the White Cross society, for the care of psychically wounded children in France and Belgium, which has recently become affiliated with the Red Cross, and to talk over the advisability of establishing a White Cross headquarters here, with a training school for workers in the field. Another arrival at Boyland today will be Miss Idis Lazar, who will come from Pasadena this evening to take over the music department of Boyland.
