Abstract/Notes: This article deals with the first twenty years (1911-1934) of the presence of the Montessori Method in France. The reconstruction is based on written evidences and on the main actors’ experiences in the implementation of Maria Montessori’s ideas. This historical outline allows to better recognise the reasons why Montessori’s educative principles were not welcomed in France so warmly as in other European countries. Several initiatives took indeed place, but they remained insubstantial because they were almost always the result of efforts carried by single persons rather than institutions.

Abstract/Notes: The late 1920s and early 1930s in Italy saw the peak of a process establishing Montessori pedagogy which would come to an end within a decade with the drastic closure of all Montessori schools in the country. This epilogue, which would also be seen in those years in other countries with a similar political regime, calls for an analysis of the relations between the creator of the most famous and widespread pedagogical method in the world and the political regime that favoured the application and dissemination of the method in Italy - a country in which it had still not encountered those conditions of realisation that would instead come about in the crucial years of the rise of Fascism and the completion of the totalitarian state. The essay examines the main events marking the history of Montessori’s conflictual relationship with Fascism in the years 1924-1934, from the initial contacts characterising it and leading up to the final break, after which Montessori finally left Italy until the end of World War II.

[This paper tries to explain Islamic education from the perspective of Maria Montessori, who is a figure of children's education who devotes almost her entire life to children. Maria Montessori has a basic principle regarding this Montessori Method, which is very focused on children as children centers and adults as guides. According to him, a phase of life at the beginning is very influential on the phases of the next life which means that the experiences experienced by a child early in life are very influential on their maturity as well as the treatment that children get from childhood will greatly affect the subsequent development of children. Youth as Muslims, it has become an obligation for parents and educators to instill Islamic values in their children. And so that these Islamic values can be absorbed perfectly, it must be taught from an early age as well. Rasulullah has emphasized the responsibility of parents towards children in their sayings.]

Abstract/Notes: In recent years, educators and workforce experts have been seeing a consensus that the new generation needs the improved skills of the 21st century. Without these skills, it is thought that the new generation cannot successfully participate in the global economy and cannot be prepared enough for the university and business life. In this study, the effectiveness of Montessori Education Approach was evaluated in the acquisition of 21st century skills. An early childhood model proposal was developed by identifying the aspects of this education method, which began a century ago and continued to be developed until 1952, and which is still valid today, are similar to 21st century skills. The 21st century skills that the P21 platform categorized and divided into themes were based on. Matching expressions of 21st century skills and principles in Montessori education were examined. The findings obtained revealed a total of 963 matching expressions of the 21st century skills and the Montesoori education approach. The fact that the Montessori method, which cannot be widely used in our country due to its financial dimension, can be placed in the National Education pre-school education program, may be the correct model, and other modern education methods (Experiential education), High-Scope Regio-Emillia Sweden Program (Whariki) are evaluated and our education system It has been suggested that the most appropriate pre-school education model should be prepared urgently.
