Abstract/Notes: Le acquisizioni della ricerca psicopedagogica consentono oggi di cogliere con maggior consapevolezza gli aspetti di attualità dell'opera di Maria Montessori e di comprenderne gli elementi precursori rispetto ad istanze che soltanto in tempi successivi a quelli in cui la studiosa visse si sono affacciate nel dibattito pedagogico. Il volume analizza in questa chiave il modello educativo della pedagogista: ne individua i presupposti teorici e i principi metodologici, ne discute le scelte operative, gli obiettivi e le procedure didattiche, ne presenta gli sviluppi nei diversi gradi scolastici, analizza i processi che si svolgono all'interno dell'ambiente d'apprendimento, discute i dati delle ricerche. Il suo intento è offrire una visione complessiva e complessa di tale modello, scevra di semplificazioni riduttive, in grado di coglierne lo spessore dei riferimenti teorici e metodologici senza perdere di vista la visione culturale e scientifica all'interno della quale esso si colloca. [Today, the acquisitions of the psycho-pedagogical research allow us to understand, with greater awareness, Maria Montessori’s production topicality and features which are precursor elements of instances that only after her death became object of interest into the pedagogical debate. The present volume analyzes, in the above mentioned perspective, Montessori’s pedagogical model: it spreads a light on the theoretical assumptions, and the methodological principles developed by the pedagogist; furthermore, her operational choices, along with the goals she set, as well as the didactic procedures she developed are discussed, the processes that take place in the learning environment are analyzed, and the research results are discussed, as well. The goal of the present book is to propose a complex overview of Montessori’s educational model, without reductive simplifications, a perspective that offers the opportunity to better understand the depth of the theoretical and methodological references discussed, but not neglecting the cultural and scientific view in which this model is placed.]

Abstract/Notes: İtalyan eğitimci ve tıp doktoru Maria Montessori'nin 'çocuğun doğası ve eğitimi' hakkındaki düşüncelerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada onun ortaya koyduğu metot, eğitimin çeşitli unsurları açısından ele alınıp incelenmiştir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmada, Montessori'nin eğitim alanında metot geliştirmesine neden olan düşünceleriyle metot hakkında ileri sürülen bilgiler bir bütünlük içinde sentez edilmiştir. Bu nedenle çalışma, hem kuram hem de uygulamalara ilişkin bilgilerden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmadaki kuramsal bilgilerin büyük bir bölümü Montessori'nin çocuk hakkındaki düşüncelerinden oluşmaktadır. Onun bu düşünceleri bilimsel bulgulara dayanmaktadır. Bu nedenle çalışmada, araştırmalar sonucu elde edilen bilimsel bulgulara da yer verilmiştir. According to this objective, the ideas of Montessori which has contributed to develop a method and the claimed information about the method are combined collectively. Therefore this study consists of both theories and the information about practices. Most of the theoretical information in the study includes mostly the thoughts of Montessori about childhood. Her thoughts depend on the scientific findings. Therefore some scientific findings which are produced as results of researches are included in this study. Most of the information about the implementation in the study is received from the Montessori's her own works. This part of the study is mainly consists of the information related to educational materials that consist of the main factors of the method. At the last part of this study, introduces Montessori's institutions with general view. Under title of 'Montessori Institutions and Situation in Turkey' it is talked about the Montessori Associations and school around the world. This part shows that even if a hundred years passed after the first implementations the Montessori Method, it is still the most widely used educational method. Furthermore, in this part of study, Montessori system and pre-school education system in Turkey are compared, by means of their aims, educational environment and the appointed role of the teacher while relating each case with other.

Abstract/Notes: Nel panorama pedagogico italiano del XX secolo Maria Montessori è stata tra le figure femminili più interessanti. Ha interpretato con cura e perspicacia la figura del bambino, chiarendo il ruolo significativo che l’ambiente riveste nella sua formazione cognitiva ed emotiva e della sua mente “assorbente”. Punto di partenza dei suoi studi è stato Il metodo della pedagogia scientifica (1909), da cui è emerso in maniera evidente che la scienza doveva studiare il processo di formazione della personalità del bambino nella sua interazione sociale. La Montessori, ha rivendicato i diritti dell’infanzia di fronte al mondo degli adulti, evidenziando l’antico errore, dal punto di vista psicologico ed educativo, di far assumere al bambino atteggiamenti e abiti mentali che non siano conformi alla sua natura di bambino. A tal scopo, la studiosa organizzò il suo l’ambiente educativo, cioè la scuola dell’infanzia, come un luogo ideale in cui il bambino, in piena libertà di azione e opportunamente stimolato, potesse fare le sue esperienze formative. Una rilettura del pensiero di Maria Montessori ha reso possibile alcuni riscontri con problematiche pedagogiche attuali che hanno avuto riflessi nella Pedagogia contemporanea, per esempio, il rapporto tra ambiente e educazione, l’organizzazione del processo di insegnamento-apprendimento, l’uso di procedure, di tecniche e di materiali relativi ad un intervento pedagogico vero e proprio. [In the Italian pedagogical panorama of the twentieth century, Maria Montessori was among the most interesting female figures. She has interpreted the figure of the child with care and insight, clarifying the significant role that the environment plays in her cognitive and emotional formation and in her "absorbing" mind. The starting point of her studies was The Method of Scientific Pedagogy (1909), from which it emerged clearly that science had to study the process of formation of the child's personality in its social interaction. Montessori claimed the rights of childhood in front of the adult world, highlighting the ancient error, from a psychological and educational point of view, of making the child assume attitudes and mental habits that do not conform to her child's nature. For this purpose, the scholar organized her educational environment, that is the kindergarten, as an ideal place where the child, in full freedom of action and appropriately stimulated, could have his educational experiences. A re-reading of Maria Montessori's thought has made possible some feedbacks with current pedagogical problems that have had repercussions in contemporary Pedagogy, for example, the relationship between environment and education, the organization of the teaching-learning process, the use of procedures, of techniques and materials related to a real pedagogical intervention.]

Abstract/Notes: The coronavirus which began to spread in early 2020 changed the world order (new normal), it also had a direct impact on the education aspect. In Indonesia, there is a policy to conduct online learning. Not all learning can be done online due to signal constraints and costs. So we need a solution, in the form of a theoretical concept that reveals the importance of independent learning and self-study to hone sensory-motor development in children. This concept is found in Maria Montessori's constructivism learning theory. Using a qualitative approach through reading through philosophical hermeneutics, which the author excavated from Maria Montessori's parent books, this research is to find (1) What are the big ideas of Maria Montessori's constructivism learning theory? (2) How is the application of constructivism learning theory for children during the Covid-19 period? with the aim of research to uncover and apply constructivism learning theory from Maria Montessori's perspective for children during a pandemic.This study concludes: (1) Children can self-construct, sensitive period, absorbent mind and certain developmental laws in their learning (2) Application of the Montessori method which includes activities to provide sensory, motor, and language stimulationat home. This understanding is important so that parents use constructivism learning theory in children and use it as the basis for parents' beliefs during this new normal era of learning. / Virus corona yang mulai menyebar awal tahun 2020 mengubah tatanan dunia (new normal), hal tersebut juga terdampak langsung pada aspek pendidikan. Di Indonesia, muncul kebijakan untuk melakukan pembelajaran online. Faktanya, tidak semua pembelajaran bisa dilakukan secara online karena terkendala signal dan biaya. Maka perlu sebuah solusi, berupa konsep teoritis yang mengungkapkan pentingnya pembelajaran mandiri dan belajar sendiri untuk mengasah perkembangan sensori motorik pada anak. Konsep ini ditemukan dalam teori belajar kontruktivisme milik Maria Montessori. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui pembacaan secara hermeneutika filosofis, yang penulis gali dari buku-buku induk karya Maria Montessori, penelitian ini untuk mencari (1) Bagaimana gagasan besar teori belajar konstruktivisme Maria Montessori? (2) Bagaimana penerapan teori belajar kontruktivisme untuk anak dalam masa Covid-19? dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengungkap dan menerapkan teori belajar konstruktivisme perspektif Maria Montessori untuk anak di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan: (1) Anak memiliki kemampuan self construction, sensitive period, absorbent mind dan hukum perkembangan tertentu dalam belajarnya (2) Penerapan metode Montessori yang meliputi kegiatan untuk memberikan stimulasi sensorik, motorik dan bahasa di dalam rumah. Pemahaman ini penting, agar orang tua menggunakan teori belajar kontruktivisme pada anak dan digunakan sebagai dasar keyakinan orang tua di saat pembelajaran era new normal ini.

Abstract/Notes: Nuestro trabajo describre la entrada de las ideas de María Montessori en Cataluña, así como su estancia en Barcelona. Presenta, también, un análisis de la influencia de sus teorias y su método en la Psicología pedagógica catalana. Por otro lado, se estudia, además, el trabajo realizado por Montessori en este período y se explica su dirección del Laboratorio Seminario de Pedagogía de la Mancomunitat de Cataluña. [This paper describes Maria Montessori's incorporation of ideas in Catalunya, and her stay at Barcelona. And we are also analyzing the influence of her theories and her pedagogical method in catalan psychology. On the other hand, the work of Montessori during this period is examined and her labor facing the seminar of pedagogy laboratory of the Mancomunitat of Cataluña is explained.]
