Abstract/Notes: The Montessori method, which is a learning method that depends on each student, has the advantage of growing critical thinking, collaborating, and acting more assertively. Children with good cognition are characterized by problem-solving skills by prioritizing prosocial in every interaction, and vice versa. The lack of research in the field of sports related to motor and montessori movements, especially in West Nusa Tenggara and the results of observations at the MI Al Ijtihad school still use a monotonous learning pattern so that students tend to be passive, not independent and not confident so that it affects motor skills, in this study what is meant is rough motoric. The population in this study were students of MI Al-Ijtihad, totaling 20 students. In this study, researchers used purposive sampling with certain criteria. In this study, the researchers used instruments, namely the Zig-zag Running test and the Throwing the ball at the target. The type of research used is a quantitative experiment with a pre-test post-test group design. The data analysis technique used is the t-test through the t-test formula. From the results of statistical data analysis of the effect of modification of props on gross motor skills, the tcount X (throwing the ball at the target) of 5.446 simultaneously between Y and X1 draws conclusions from the table analysis at a significant level of 5% with the number of samples (n - 1), namely 19 is 2,869. So it can be concluded that ''There is an effect of modification of Montessori teaching aids on gross motor skills seen from tcount > ttable (5.446 > 2.869).

[Maria Montessori (1870-1952) designed a school and education system based on an analysis of childhood and youth based on developmental psychology, sociology and anthropology, which follows these results on the basis of the working materials she developed. Learning takes place in four successive developmental stages of five to seven years each, with which successive educational plans correspond: the Montessori children's home, the Montessori elementary school, the "Erdkinderplan" and the university.]

Abstract/Notes: Bu araştırmada, Montessori Yönteminin anaokulu çocuklarının ilköğretime hazır bulunuşluklarına etkisi incelenmiştir. / This research was studied with the purpose of analyzing the effect of Montessori method supported by social skills training program on kindergarten children's skills of understanding feelings and social problem solving. 53 children who attended at Selcuk University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ihsan Dogramaci Aplication Nursery School in Konya in 2013-2014 school year were included in the study group. / Multicultural Education has been in the spotlight for ages. During the last decades of last century, the phenomenon of immigration and the development of massive settlements of immigrant communities in certain parts of Spain led political and educational authorities to confront and help in assisting the needs of these growing social groups. In this way, new school communities emerged but they slowly became into ghettos of immigrant students who, in many occasions, did know little or nothing about the target language or culture of their new country. These schools may have been seen as spots of controversy and they have indeed been a challenge for their teachers, who have been able to improve the quality of education through their daily work. Considering this context, we place the concept of ‘good practice’ in young children education at the core of this article by making reference to the experience of a female teacher who has made true her dream of implementing Montessori Methodology in a risk group of Infant students.

Abstract/Notes: The purpose of this qualitative thesis was to find out whether Montessori pedagogy based Montessori day care center Aurinkoleijona supports the self-management of the child, and what kind of experiences the parents of children have in the subject area. The thesis is a case study, and in the theoretical part it raises the documents guiding the early childhood education as well as the history of Finnish early childhood education, and the alternative pedagogics. Further, the thesis immerses Montessori pedagogy and the development of self-regulation and self-management of the child. At present, children's learning and learning difficulties are topical themes. Finland has been in the elite of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) for many years, but recently the results have weakened. Learning difficulties are influenced by many factors, but one factor that can be considered is the difficulties that are faced in self-management. In order for a child to have a good start in the development of self-management, attention should be paid to supporting it in early childhood education. With Finnish early childhood education being high quality, it provides a good foundation for the overall development of each child, including self-management. The thesis deals with the development of practical early childhood education in the Montessori day care center Aurinkoleijona by exploring potential development targets for supporting the child's self-management. The research questions are: "How does the Montessori pedagogy support the child’s self-management?" and "What kind of experiences do parents have with their child’s or children’s self-management?". Research methods were observation and a questionnaire for the parents of the child. Material was analyzed by utilizing content analysis. The results show that the operational environment of the Montessori day care center Aurinkoleijona has been created in a way that it supports the self-management of the child by many means. Versatile functions, calmness of the atmosphere, furniture that are in the child’s level, and the role of adults in the environment enable a good basis for supporting the self-management of the child. Parents’ experiences of day care center were positive. Children in the day care center are growing up to be independent, and self-directed future schoolchildren, who take others into consideration.
