Abstract/Notes: Konsequent ausgehend von den Entwicklungsbedürfnissen in der Adoleszenz entwarf Maria Montessori für 12-18Jährige das Konzept eines 'Studien- und Arbeitszentrums auf dem Lande', das mit seinen Komponenten Modellbauernhof, Hofladen/ Geschäft, Bed & Breakfast und Schule Jugendlichen Gelegenheit gibt, die gesellschaftlichen Grundstrukturen von Produktion, Handel und Dienstleistungen in einem überschaubaren und zugleich geschützten Rahmen kennenzulernen und damit Praxis-Theorie-übergreifende Erfahrungen in konkreten Zusammenhängen zu sammeln. Das Buch stellt die Grundlagen von Maria Montessoris Konzept detailliert vor und gibt durch Berichte und Interviews mit Montessori-ExpertInnen und Jugendlichen spannende Einblicke in authentische Praxisumsetzungen des "Erdkinder"-Konzepts national und international. [Consistently based on the development needs of adolescence, Maria Montessori designed the concept of a 'study and work center in the country' for 12-18 year olds, which, with its components of model farm, farm shop/shop, bed & breakfast and school, gives young people the opportunity to learn about the basic social structures of production, trade and services in a manageable and at the same time protected framework and thus to gain practical and theoretical experience in concrete contexts. Abstract/Notes: This contribution aims to reconstruct the network of national and international relations which contributed to the return of Maria Montessori to Italy in May 1947 and to the establishment of a Centro di Studi Pedagogici in order to create the conditions for a permanent residence of the scientist in her country. The reconstitution of the Opera Nazionale Montessori and the activities of its president Maria de Unterrichter Jervolino in collaboration with leading personalities of Italian political and cultural life and with the ‘historical’ students of Montessori are placed in this context. / Aquesta contribució pretén reconstruir la xarxa de relacions nacionals i internacionals que van contribuir al retorn de Maria Montessori a Itàlia el maig de 1947 i a la creació del Centro di Studi Pedagogici per tal de crear les condicions per a una residència permanent de la científica al seu país. La reconstitució de l’Opera Nazionale Montessori i les activitats de la seva presidenta Maria de Unterrichter Jervolino en col·laboració amb personalitats destacades de la vida política i cultural italiana i amb els estudiants ‘històrics’ de Montessori se situen en aquest context. / Esta contribución tiene como objetivo reconstruir la red de relaciones nacionales e internacionales que contribuyó al regreso de Maria Montessori a Italia en mayo de 1947 y al establecimiento del Centro di Studi Pedagogici con el fin de crear las condiciones para una residencia estable de la científica en su país. En este contexto se sitúan la reconstitución de la Opera Nazionale Montessori y las actividades de su presidenta Maria de Unterrichter Jervolino en colaboración con destacadas personalidades de la vida política y cultural italiana y con las alumnas ‘históricas’ de Montessori.

Abstract/Notes: Auf der Grundlage der Montessori-Pädagogik sowie neuester Erkenntnisse der Hirnforschung, zeigt dieser "Englischunterricht von der Primarstufe bis zum Abitur" wie individuelle Lernwege, Selbstverantwortung des Schülers, herausfordernde Lernziele, der Lehrer als Lernbegleiter u.v.a.m. zu einem erfolgreichen Fremdsprachenunterricht führen. [Based on Montessori pedagogy and the latest findings in brain research, this "English lessons from primary school to high school" shows how individual learning paths, self-responsibility of the student, challenging learning goals, the teacher as a learning companion and much more lead to successful foreign language teaching.]
