Abstract/Notes: AMS's hest-known work includes activities such as school accreditation, affiliation of teacher education programs, credential services, and providing professional development opportunities throughout the year, to name just a few.(The MLC is made up of individuals working on hehalf of key Montessori associations, such as AMS and AMI/USA, as well as individuals within the Montessori movement representing research, teacher education, administration, and more.) * Supporting the work of the National Center for Montessori in the Public Sector (NCMPS) to develop and sustain excellent public Montessori programs. * Supporting NCMPS's "Teach Montessori" campaign, which builds awareness of Montessori education as a viable and rewarding career option.
