Abstract/Notes: "New York, Apr 19 - La Dottoressa Maria Montessori e giunta off a bordo del piroscafo "Duca degli Abruzzi". La illustre pedagogista rimarra in America quattro mesi. Ella e accompagnata dal cugino Mario Montessori. Quanto prima partira per la California, ove e state chiamata da quel Consiglio dell'Istruzione a tenere un corso di pedagogia e didattica per le maestre delle scuole elementari. La Dottoressa Montessori e stata l'iniziatrice di un nuovo metodo pedagogico, il quale si differenzia dai metodi comunemente seguiti nelle scuole, perché lascia un'assoluta liberta all'iniziativa individuale del fanciullo, cercando coltivare questa senza forzare o mutarne, o comprimerne il libero sviluppo il fanciullo apprende non per la imposizione dell'insegnante, ma perché vuole apprendere, perché l'insegnamento e parte del gioco, della sua libera e spontanea attività. Scuole che seguono il metodo Montessori vi sono in Italia e in altri paesi dell'Europe. Da poco tempo ne sono sorte in America ed hanno avuto ed hanno grandi risultati pratici.

Abstract/Notes: Die hier ermöglichten Schaffensprozesse kombiniert mit dem kindlichen kreativen Potenzial sind die Basis für künstlerisch aktive Kinder. Bildnerisches Gestalten als wichtige kindliche Ausdrucksform, Unterstützung der feinmotorischen Koordination, Wecken von Experimentierfreude und Entdecken des eigenen Gefühls für Ästhetik sind Notwendigkeiten für die Kreativität. [The creative processes made possible here combined with the child's creative potential are the basis for artistically active children. Artistic design as an important form of expression for children, support for fine motor coordination, arousing the willingness to experiment and discovering one's own feeling for aesthetics are necessities for creativity.]

Abstract/Notes: The present study is conducted to examine the effect of the Montessori method on kindergarten children's large muscle skills. The study group formed with 40 children who were between 36 and 60 months and going to Ihsan Dogramacı Implementation Kindergarten of Selcuk University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Konya during the 2014-2015 academic year. As data collection tool, the Large Muscle Skills Assessment Test (LMSAT) is used. The tests are applied to students before and after the experiment; they are applied again to experimental group ten weeks after the application of the program ended. Mann-Whitney- U Test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test were used in the analysis of the data obtained from the study. When the findings of the present study are examined and the pre-test and post-test score average of both experimental and control group children's gathered via Large Muscle Skills Assessment Test (LMSAT) is compared, a significant difference was found in favor of the experimental group. When experimental group children's Large Muscle Skills Assessment Test (LMSAT) post-test and test-retest score average results are compared there was no statistically meaningful difference. Depending on the findings it can be said that Montessori method affects kindergarten children's large muscle skills positively and is also more effective in terms of large muscle skills compared to the pre-School education program of the Ministry of Education. / Bu araştırma, Montessori yönteminin anaokulu çocuklarının büyük kas becerilerini etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubunda, 2014-2015 öğretim yılında Konya ilinde bulunan Selçuk Üniversitesi, Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi, İhsan Doğramacı Uygulama Anaokulu'nda okul öncesi eğitime devam eden (36- 60 ay arası) 40 çocuk yer almıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, Büyük Kas Becerilerini Ölçme Testi (BÜKBÖT) kullanılmıştır. Testler çocuklara deneme öncesi ve sonrasında uygulanmış; ayrıca deneme grubuna eğitim programı bitiminden on hafta sonra tekrar uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde Mann Whitney – U Testi ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular incelendiğinde, deneme ve kontrol grubu çocuklarının Büyük Kas Becerilerini Ölçme Testi (BÜKBÖT) sontest puan ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında, deneme grubu lehine anlamlı bir farklılaşma bulunmuştur. Deneme grubu çocuklarının Büyük Kas Becerilerini Ölçme (BÜKBOT) Testi sontest ve izleme testi puan ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında ise anlamlı bir farklılaşmanın bulunmadığı ortaya konulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda ulaşılan genel sonuç; Montessori yönteminin anaokulu çocuklarının büyük kas becerilerini olumlu yönde etkilediği ve MEB Okul Öncesi Eğitim Programı'na göre büyük kas becerileri acısından daha etkili olduğudur.

Abstract/Notes: Maria Montessori’s method left a deep and rich renovating educational footprint in the city of Barcelona before the Franco regime (1939). An active, cheerful, playful, co-educational, science-based system, in which the child is the protagonist. The teacher accompanies the students, trying to respect their rhythms in their personal learning itinerary. The Montessori revolution was possible because the Mancomunitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Barcelona and the municipal administration believed in it, created schools, Case dei Bambini, and promoted continuous teacher training through courses, seminars, and Summer Schools. / El mètode de la doctora Maria Montessori va deixar una profunda i rica petjada educativa i renovadora a la ciutat de Barcelona abans del règim franquista (1939). Un sistema actiu, alegre, lúdic, coeducatiu, de base científica, en què el protagonista és l’infant. El professorat acompanya l’alumnat procurant respectar el ritme en l’itinerari personal d’aprenentatge. La revolució montessoriana fou possible perquè la Mancomunitat de Catalunya, la Diputació de Barcelona i l’administració municipal hi van creure, van crear escoles, Cases dels Nens, i van promoure la formació continuada dels mestres a través de cursets, seminaris i Escoles d’Estiu / El método de la doctora Maria Montessori dejó una profunda y rica huella educativa y renovadora en la ciudad de Barcelona antes del régimen franquista (1939). Un sistema activo, alegre, lúdico, coeducativo, de base científica, en el que el protagonista es el niño. El profesorado realiza un acompañamiento al alumnado, procurando respetar el ritmo en el itinerario personal de aprendizaje. La revolución montessoriana fue posible porque la Mancomunidad de Cataluña, la Diputación de Barcelona y la administración municipal creyeron en ella, creando escuelas, Case dei Bambini, y promoviendo la formación continuada de los maestros a través de cursillos, seminarios y Escuelas de Verano.
