Abstract/Notes: Games have played an important role in modern educational methodologies. Beginning with the work of luminaries like Froebel, Montessori, and Dewey and continuing through the Cold War, the counter-culture movement of the 1960s and '70s, and into the present day, shifts in educational practice can be traced historically using the lens of games, where concepts like play, win strategies, cooperation, and engagement figure prominently in curricular structures. The author investigates how games have been discussed in art education literature, linking how the use of games in art educational environments significantly reflects the sociopolitical contexts of the 20th century.

The results of the research show that in the classrooms where the Montessori Education Approach is applied, the cooperation is significantly increased, the students are participated to the lectures without any instruction, the creativity is developed in the positive direction and it was seen that the students learned the places of the materials and took it when they needed it. In the visual arts education courses implementated by the Ministry of Education Program Teacher Centered Approach, teachers use visual materials, sample models, narration and question-answer methods to guide the students and reach the result which limits original and new ideas. It has been observed that the limitation of the creativity of the students is the effect of the presence of the material cupboards in closed cupboards at the height that they can not reach. / Bu araştırmada, okul öncesi eğitim programında yer alan görsel sanatlar eğitimi ders konularının, Montesori Eğitimi Yaklaşımı programı uygulanarak, yaratıcılık gelişimlerine etkisinin nasıl olduğu belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. 48-66 ay grubundaki 20 öğrenciye Montessori Eğitimi Yaklaşım programı, aynı yaş grubundaki 60 öğrenciye Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Öğretmen Merkezli Yaklaşım uygulanmış ve iki yaklaşım karşılaştırılmıştır. Görsel sanatlar eğitimi dersi, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı okul öncesi programı Öğretmen Merkezli Yaklaşım ve Montessori eğitimi yaklaşımı ayrı araştırma gruplarında eşit üniteler halinde uygulanarak işlenmiştir. Bu araştırma ile görsellerle yapılan anlatım sunumlarının öğrencilerin yaratıcılıklarına etkileri, sanat çalışmalarının özgünlük ve yenilik açısından yansımaları, özgür bırakılan çocukların derse karşı tutumları, öğrenci başarısına etkileri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları, Montessori Eğitimi Yaklaşımı uygulanan sınıftaki öğrencilerde yardımlaşmanın önemli ölçüde arttığı, çocuklara yönelik yönerge olmadan derslere kendi istekleri doğrultusunda katıldıkları, yaratıcılıklarının olumlu yönde geliştiği ve malzemelerin yerlerini öğrenerek ihtiyaç duyduklarında aldıkları görülmüştür. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Programı Öğretmen Merkezli Yaklaşım ile işlenen görsel sanatlar eğitimi derslerinde, öğretmenlerin görsel materyalleri, örnek modelleri, anlatım ve soru-cevap yöntemlerini kullanmaları öğrencileri yönlendirerek özgün ve yeni fikirleri sınırlardığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin yaratıcılıklarının sınırlanmasında malzeme dolaplarının ulaşamayacakları yükseklikte kapalı dolaplarda bulunmasının da etkisi olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.

Abstract/Notes: In the traditional school system, many values are set in line with the wishes of adults. This situation appears as a blind conflict between the weak and the strong in education. This environment, which causes the creation of only weak and strong people by keeping the individual in the background, comes to light with the sense of loss and self-worthlessness, and the characteristics of membership left alone or without faith. Individuals with this point of view have developed neither personal courage nor ability to criticize and judge. If we love the child so that he/she can build with his/her own unique values and natural laws, it is possible for us to develop all his abilities. At this point, Montessori Education Method emerges as one of the most valuable methods for us to achieve this development. The Montessori Method is based on the developmental needs of the child and is implemented in a carefully prepared appropriate environment. In this process, when the superiority of the method is realized, the child develops both his/her intelligence and his/her physical and mental abilities with experiences. This study aspires to determine how the primary school second grade visual arts education class topics affect students' knowledge levels by applying the method of Montessori Education. The aim of the study is to cover the effect of teaching art history education with the Montessori Education Method on student knowledge level.

Abstract/Notes: This article examines the role played by the conferences of the New Education Fellowship (NEF) in the emerging disciplinary field of the sciences of education between the two world wars. As Fuchs points out in an article in the present issue, the field of education at this time was being internationalized, and, being an international movement, the field impacted on by the NEF was international in scope.1 As will be seen, the ideas and practices of the new education were mediated by national cultural differences and thus their impact on the disciplinary field varied from nation to nation.2 In addition, the development of the field in terms of journals, conferences and its institutionalization within nations was uneven, which presents further difficulties when trying to evaluate the impact of the NEF's conferences. Much of the following discussion focuses on their impact on the disciplinary field in England though, as will be seen, not exclusively so. One of the distinguishing features of the NEF other than its international scope was that it was a movement that connected lay enthusiasts for the educational reforms associated with the new education with major figures in the developing disciplines of psychology and education, such as Carl Gustav Jung, Jean Piaget and John Dewey. The relation between these lay and professional constituencies is examined and conclusions drawn regarding the professionalizing process in the field and the impact of the conferences on educational research and its institutionalization.

Abstract/Notes: Modern educational space is "impregnated" with ideas of humanization and personality-oriented concept. In this regard, it becomes necessary to study and understand the potential of those pedagogical systems and techniques of a personal orientation that have taken their solid place in the educational space, having proved their importance, efficiency and productivity. One of the most striking representatives of ideas with a humanistic focus is the Italian teacher, psychologist, founder of the method of scientific pedagogy M. Montessori. The article discusses the positive and negative aspects of the developing method of M. Montessori.
