Abstract/Notes: Bakalářská práce Specifika řízení montessori škol se zaměřuje na rozdíly v řízení montessori škol a škol bez montessori vzdělávacího programu. Teoretická část je na základě odborné literatury zaměřena řízení školy, ředitele školy a na kompetence, které ředitelé mají. Dále je zde popisován kompetenční model ředitele. Třetí kapitola charakterizuje řízení pedagogického procesu. Konkretizuje, jak získávat a udržet žáky. V kapitole řízení lidských zdrojů je popisováno přijímání, rozvoj, hodnocení pracovníků a hospitace. Další část se týká alternativního vzdělávání se zaměřením na osobnost Marie Montessori a na specifika tohoto pedagogického směru. Praktická část se zabývá metodikou sběru dat a popisuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření. Cílem práce je zjistit rozdíly v řízení montessori škol a škol bez montessori vzdělávacího programu. Tohoto cíle je dosaženo zhodnocením výsledků z dotazníkového šetření. / The bachelor's thesis Specifics of Montessori School Management focuses on the differences in the management of montessori schools and schools without a montessori educational program. Based on the literature, the theoretical part focuses on the management of the school, the school principal and the competencies that the principals have. Furthermore, the competence model of the director is described here. The third chapter characterizes the management of the pedagogical process. It specifies how to acquire and retain students. The chapter on human resources management describes recruitment, development, evaluation of employees and supervision. The next part concerns alternative education with a focus on the personality of Maria Montessori and the specifics of this pedagogical direction. The practical part deals with the methodology of data collection and describes the results of the questionnaire survey. The aim of the work is to find out the differences in the management of montessori schools and schools without a montessori educational program. This goal is achieved by evaluating the results of the questionnaire survey.

Abstract/Notes: This study aims to determine the implementation of Montessori curriculum management along with the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of Montessori curriculum management in improving the quality of learning in Askara Montessori Kindergarten, Kramatjati, East Jakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by using data collection methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique stage includes data reduction, data presentation and data verification, while checking the reliability of the data is carried out by extending participation, observing accuracy, triangulation and consulting with supervisors. The results of his research indicate that the implementation of Montessori curriculum management in improving the quality of learning, namely planning includes making a training schedule for teachers, both bringing in experts and attending training outside of making head work plans / annual programs, making supervision guidelines. Then the implementation includes: supervising learning planning including RPPH, RPPM and RPPS, monitoring and evaluating by fostering teachers with motivation. Evaluation includes reporting the results of supervision starting from planning, implementing and evaluating learning, then reporting the results of child development to parents. While the driving factors for change management strategies in improving teacher performance include infrastructure and facilities that include quite complete Montessori tools.

Examining Teacher Leader Self-Efficacy and the Impact of Time Management Skills

Abstract/Notes: This study sought to examine how time management skills would impact the self-efficacy of Teacher Leaders working in a teacher-led school model. The participants of the four-week study were three Teacher Leaders from two teacher-led primary Montessori schools in an urban area. The Teacher Leaders incorporated time management skills including time analysis, establishing goals, prioritization, and planning/scheduling.Data was collected on Teacher Leader productivity, distribution of time among teaching and administrative roles, self-efficacy, and time management behavior through pre- and post- questionnaires, daily to-do lists, and daily activity logs. The study concluded that although the results were not statistically significant, two out of three Teacher Leader’s productivity, time management behavior, and self-efficacy did improve over the course of the study. Further research is needed to determine how these time management skills impact Teacher Leader’s experienced stress, perceived productivity, and to further investigate how Teacher Leaders’ distribution of time among teaching and administrative roles impacts stress and self-efficacy. Abstract/Notes: This paper focuses on the application of knowledge based systems for child performance analysis in an online Montessori module. Using knowledge based techniques, the system generates an automatic analysis based on the teacher's answers to a variety of questions about a child's performance of a specific Montessori activity. The questions were created through a study of the criteria used to assess the level of a child's performance and achievement. This prototype is designed as a proof-of-concept, to show how the knowledge base technique could be applied. To design the prototype, we conducted literature reviews on the delivery of Montessori methods and the knowledge base technique, and compared rule -based and case -based reasoning. We selected rule-based reasoning for the concept prototype since it is suitable for Montessori activities which are well defined and easy to acquire.
