Abstract/Notes: In making a better-balanced society women play a crucial role from the earlier period of history and educating women can be considered as the most reliable way for improving their entire standard of living. Even the all-round development of a child mostly depends on women because women have a significant contribution in the development of their families as well as the entire society. Equalising women right in society is a very important concern for the development of a country. Gender equality can be considered as a global priority treated by UNESCO also. Women of education have treated education as the most authentic and reliable tool for the overall development of women. The present paper highlights the women of education in special reference to the legendary names Maria Montessori and Mary Wollstonecraft.

Almost everyone in Santa Barbara knows that Boyland exists, and that the management is building a beautiful home for this same Boyland on the hill at Oak Park, and that the map of the world is being laid out there on a huge scale and in a most understandable manner, but little is known by the public of the real working and object of this unique school. All the members of the club and those fortunate enough to be invited guests are anxiously waiting to hear Mr. Hopkins, who has traveled extensively, to better understand this particular kind of education..."

She has recently spent some time in Spain instructing nuns there in the educational principles she has developed and popularized. The club meeting was largely attended, it being a reciprocity day, and the speakers included Mrs. Herbert A. Cable, president of the Federation of Women's clubs; Mrs. Andrew Stewart Lobingier, president of the Friday Morning club, and others.
